    About Our Client

    Out client is a small boutique Chartered Accounting and tax firm based in Perth seeking to employ an Intermediate or Senior Accountant. Their service offering spans across accounting, tax, business and consulting services to a range of clients across various industries in Australia and overseas.

    This is a progressive and rapidly growing firm with a positive culture aimed at developing and bringing out the best in its people.

    Our client is committed to having a balanced approach toward work and life - WFH is encouraged up to 5 days per week.

    Job Description

    • Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and occasionally superfunds.
    • Prepare BAS, IAS and FBT returns
    • Liaise with clients, the ATO and ASIC
    • Reviewing client work
    • Assisting with the provision of accounting and business advice to clients
    • Assist with research and provision of advice or position papers pertaining to advanced tax issues on a wide range of topics including CGT, business transactions, international tax, structuring and restructuring, Division 7A and tax consolidations
    • Continously seek and identify opportunities for your clients to improve how they do business.

    The Successful Applicant

    • Have completed an accounting degree (BCom or BBus)
    • CA or CPA qualified (or currently completing)
    • 1 - 6 years of Australian tax and business services experience
    • Excellent verbal and written skills
    • Team oriented and able to work effectively with peers
    • Experience dealing directly with clients
    • Efficient time management and organisational skills
    • Experience with Xero accounts is desired
