As such, we are in a period of exciting and significant investment in our Faculty of Medicine and Health, and in order to deliver on the University's ambitious strategic plan, we are looking for an Experienced Manager Support Officer to be part of a team providing administrative support to staff in our schools and centers. We provide ongoing training and support to all our team members.There is a full-time onsite expectation for this position. Your key responsibilities will be to:
    • manage the delivery of daily administration activities and services, providing guidance to colleagues on university processes, ensuring high quality, efficient administrative support is provided in a pro-active manner to staff
    • resolve complex matters that may arise with discretion, tact and diplomacy when communicating, utilising extensive experience and knowledge of University policy and practice
    • initiate and develop professional relationships with faculty staff, university services and other internal stakeholders and contribute positively to the team environment
    • review processes regularly and makes suggestions to improve these where necessary. Implement approved modifications and streamline processes where possible.
    • About you To be successful in this role, you have:
    • excellent collaboration and team building skills, with the ability to be adaptable to changing priorities and requirements
    • exceptional customer service skills, coupled with the ability to identify and understand client needs, and respond to deliver quality outcomes, escalating as appropriate
    • excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in handling enquiries and providing excellent customer service
    • demonstrated high-level ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work
    • strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative, exercise sound judgement, and prioritise workload during busy periods
    • well-developed negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship building and influencing skills.
