    Expression of Interest

    GenesisCare is entering another exciting growth phase here on the East Coast of Australia in 2024. GenesisCare are leading the way with the first brand new Radiation Oncology Centre set to open in the beautiful Noosa region in Queensland by the middle of 2024.

    We are seeking Expressions of Interest from Radiation Therapists across Australia who are interested in becoming part of the next exciting chapter within GenesisCare. Initially you will see yourself assisting and working at our Sunshine Coast Buderim Clinic then relocating to Noosa once opened.

    As a Radiation Therapist you are responsible for delivering efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning activities of a high quality. This position is a clinical role that contributes to the delivery of efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning activities.

    More specifically, you will:

  • Personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
  • Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Centre and across the practice.
  • Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
  • Ensures that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
  • We're looking for someone who has:

  • Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level (treatment and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques
  • Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment
  • Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services
  • Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy)
  • Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA
