    Based in Acton, Churchill Trust are an organisation who offer unique Fellowships to Australian citizens or permanent residents to travel overseas, investigate inspiring or innovative practices in any field and bring their research findings back to the Australia community. 'Churchill Fellows' are part of the Churchill Trust network and are offered ongoing support, networking and development opportunities.

    The Senior Manager, Engagement & Development is a senior leader within this lovely team of individuals passionate about the contribution the Churchill Trust makes to Australia. Overseeing a team of 3, this role is responsible for the development of a range of engagement programs designed to reach a wide range of stakeholders, including the impressive Alumni network.

    How does this role work?

    Reporting to an energetic, passionate and strategic CEO, you will be a positive, collaborative force within the team, the greater Churchill Trust network and the broader community. Renewal is underway and with the Churchill Trust about to celebrate their 60th birthday, we are seeking a professional engagement specialist to help design and deliver a program of strategic and effective engagement programs that will help move this prestigious and historical organisation into the next phase of growth.

    This big program of work will include the research and development of a new and targeted alumni engagement program. A lover of data and how data analysis can inform future strategic priorities, you are excited to undertake reporting and analysis to inform ways in which the Churchill Trust can enhance the knowledge of Fellow experiences. Your commitment to continuous improvement allows you to drive a culture of 'how do we do better' and in turn will see you supporting Churchill Fellowship Associations to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.

    How will you deliver what's required?

    You know how to ask the big questions and use data to inform unique solutions.

    With Salesforce your CRM of choice, you know how to analyse and dissect the data to help inform future strategies on how to increase diversity of application pools to meet organisational goals. You also know that engagement is not just important for future applicant pools, it is critical for the engagement of the impressive Alumni network for Fellows. You are not just happy with delivering a regular event to increase engagement, you want to overlay strategy and goals to ensure every event the Churchill Trust holds is meaningful and meets the goals of the organisation.

    Once you have the data you are skilled at telling the story, increasing the engagement of your stakeholders by taking them on emotive journeys and creating connection.

    Your approach is one of positive collaboration. Adept at listening, you are a very strong communicator who comes with a natural level of energy that can bring people together and motivate them to achieve. You are a professional and respectful individual who can navigate the tradition and history of the Churchill Trust with ease and together with the CEO bring it into this important phase of creative renewal.

    So, what are we looking for in this person?

    An experienced engagement professional comfortable and skilled with data analysis to segment an audience or market and identify opportunities for growth and the achievement of strategic goals.

    Someone confident with large project/program management and a demonstrated track record of translating data into strategy. Experience running large engagement programs that include events, exposure to grants and experience working with volunteers and complex stakeholder environments will all be very advantageous.

    Prior exposure to working with data generated from a CRM such as Salesforce will be highly regarded.
