- Conducting building defect audits
- Conducting building condition audits
- Field work including investigations into building defects
- Preparing detailed and structured reports for various client types
- Designing and producing Technical Specifications for remedial building projects
- Administering tender processes
- Project managing remedial building projects
- Providing Expert Witness services (for some candidates)
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in the remedial building sector
- A great understanding of building principles and design
- A great understanding of remedial construction techniques and materials
- A sound understanding of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards
- A-grade English communication skills – written and oral
- Ability to work independently and also collaboratively within a team
- Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding etc
- Must have great professional ethics and operate with integrity
- Must be motivated and willing to make an impact
- Must appreciate the confidential nature of some of our work
- Rope access qualifications or willingness to be trained in this qualification
- Particular experience in fields of Waterproofing, Concrete, Facades
- Drafting / CAD experience
- Trade or Building experience
- Project Management experience
