About the RoleResponsibilities include:
Provide pragmatic and specialist legal advice in the context of financial services on both immediate issues as well as upcoming legal and regulatory changes
Review and negotiate a range of legal and commercial agreements requiring strong skills in contract review and legal analysis
Ensure the organisation's fulfilment of legal and regulatory obligations through monitoring, review and development of internal procedures and controls
Fulfil regulatory reporting and investigative requirements, aid internal and external auditors, produce compliance reports to management and communicate with regulatory authorities as necessary
Provide cross border legal support to other teams in the global officesAbout YouYou have:
Minimum 4 PQE with relevant qualifications and current practising certificate
Strong experience with derivatives products and/or financial markets
Experience working within a reputable/top-tier law firm
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
