    Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics Palmerston, Darwin NT Director Program Development Senior Administrative Officer 2 Remuneration Package $169,251 - $184,320 (including salary $145,394 - $158,469)Transport Planning, Transport and Civil Services Full time, Ongoing vacancy in Palmerston The Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics (DIPL) aims to drive the sustainable, economic and social advancement of the Northern Territory through land use and transport planning, infrastructure investment and effective logistics supply chains.

    Positioned within DIPL, the Program Development Unit is tasked with creating and managing road and transport programs across; capital works, minor new works and repairs and maintenance.

    The Unit is responsible for the provision of specialist advice, management of transport assets, stakeholder engagement and providing cost estimating services for the Department.

    As the Director Program Development you provide strategic leadership to a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for developing and managing roads and transport asset programs, including bid development, coordination of planning activities and project approvals, stakeholder engagement, program management through the delivery phase, program acquittal and close out.

    Your extensive knowledge of civil, hydraulic and road works design and construction will assist you in providing high-level specialist advice and recommendations to Program Managers, Executive Directors and project teams in the development of road and transport infrastructure programs across the Territory.

    This role will also make good use of your advanced written and oral communication skills, your ability to prepare cabinet submissions and ministerial briefings, and your knowledge of financial management and audit requirements.

    In addition your strong relationship building and influencing skills, will help you to develop and maintaining collaborative partnerships across a range of stakeholders.
