Our client is seeking a Management Accountant to join their Business Performance Analysis team on a 4 month contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to dive deep into data, understand business performance, and make a significant impact on the company's success. As a Management Accountant within our client's Business Performance Analysis team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the organisation.

Your duties will include:

• Ensure month end / year end close is timely and accurate through journal preparation and posting, reconciliation work and preparing monthly variance reports.
• Financial modelling and analysis to support business case development.
• Support the budgeting process for various teams and business units.
• Work with the team to drive business unit profitability by looking for opportunities to maximise revenue and optimise cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Business Partners in decision support, planning and operational performance management

What you bring:

With your strong Excel skills, you will conduct financial modelling and analysis that supports business case development. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure accuracy during month-end/year-end closes.

• Proven experience in a similar Management Accountant role is essential.
• Strong Excel skills are required for data analysis and financial modelling.
• Solid experience in financial analysis is necessary for understanding business performance.
