    Aligning with our mission, Enhance NT is seeking a full-time Education Agent Coordinator to join their Darwin, NT team. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the Northern Territory's international education sector by ensuring that there is a consistent influx of international students globally coming to the NT for study.

    As Education Agent Coordinator, your key responsibilities are:

    Conduct thorough interviews with potential international student applicants, ensure only genuine students are recruited for the program by evaluating their education and work background, financial capability and plans upon completion of study.

    Counsel students about their study options, career pathway and offer relevant information on various educational institutions.

    Assist students in the visa application process

    Provide pre-departure briefings and arrival orientation

    Monitor student's progress throughout the course as per the intake schedule and ensure timely payments are made for course fees

    Coordinate with the student, parents or legal guardian, and the school

    Promote company services and coordinate with partner schools

    Build and sustain strong relationships with Enhance NT's stakeholders through networking.

    SELECTION CRITERIA

    Relevant qualification in communications, education or international relations. Bachelor degree desirable.

    Must be a PIER or ICEF Certified Qualified Education Agent Counsellor

    Practical experience in international education or in a related field such as consular, travel and tourism desired but not necessary

    Ability to speak and understand a second language i.e. Mandarin, Vietnamese, Tagalog or other is preferred

    Strong command of the English language with ability to have stage presence in symposiums, podcasts and other hosting events

    Strong negotiating skills with relevant authorities with ability to lobby the interests of international students

    Understanding and ability to navigate Australian visa and immigration policies using Legendcom to ensure accurate and timely advice to students is preferred.

    Experience in organising, coordinating and participating in educational fairs, seminars, and other promotional events

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills to clearly convey information and advice, listen effectively, and provide empathy.

    Excellent documentation skills with ability to manage multiple applications, meet deadlines, and track timely commission requests from education providers

    Salary range: $55,000 to $70,000 depending on level of experience. Potential for salary growth based on performance or tenure.
