- Provide a high level of advice to contractors relating to traffic, transport and road safety matters

ABOUT THE COMPANY
Local Government offer 35 hours per week, flexible start and finish times, RDO's and stability in contract roles with potential for extension.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Traffic Engineer in a 7 month contract based in Southern Sydney you will be responsible for the provision of a high standard of Traffic Engineering Services and Transport Planning. This position will advocate for improvements to the transport system on behalf of Council and the Community and act as a mentor to others within the Traffic and Transport team.
DUTIES
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Skills:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering or relevant qualifications
Prior project experience in active transport ie cycleways and shared path networks is preferred
Local Government experience is highly desirable
Excellent written and communication skills
