    Sheet Metal Trades Workers Required for Our Esteemed Client in Australia

    Our esteemed client in Australia is actively seeking highly skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Trades Workers, with at least 5 years of professional experience. Ideal candidates will excel in sheet metal fabrication, installation, and maintenance, and demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced industrial environment.

    To qualify for this role, applicants must:

    • Possess at least 5 years of relevant experience in sheet metal work, including in fabrication, installation, and repair.
    • Hold appropriate trade qualifications or certifications in sheet metal work or related fields.
    • Be able to provide a portfolio of previous work, along with references, a valid passport, and police clearances if required.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment, like ducts, control boxes, and various types of casings.
    • Work proficiently with a range of materials, such as stainless steel, galvanised iron, copper, and aluminium.
    • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the sequence and methods for fabrication and installation.
    • Utilise various hand tools and machinery, including shears, brakes, presses, and welding equipment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with job specifications, company policies, and safety standards.
    • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams for seamless work execution.
    • Regularly inspect and maintain sheet metal structures and components to ensure quality and durability.

    Qualifications:

    • At least 5 years of direct experience in sheet metal work.
    • Trade qualifications or certifications in sheet metal work or a closely related field.
    • Deep understanding of materials, methods, and tools essential for constructing or repairing metal structures.
    • Excellent manual dexterity, precision, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings.
    • Physical ability to meet the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and operating in various conditions.
    • Proficiency in English for effective job site communication.
