As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and supporting our clients to achieve their goals.

    About You

    To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have demonstrated experience providing support to participants with high complex needs and or behaviours of concern. Essential to the role will be a thorough understanding of working with people with disabilities - physical and behavioural, an ability to maintain professional boundaries and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

    You will also have the following skills and attributes:

    • Certificate 4 level qualification in a relevant field
    • Clear and effective communication skills and ability to establish professional relationships with participants and their families
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in record management
    • Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster and the availability to work overnight shifts or attend training or meetings as required
    • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willing to obtain
    • First Aid, CPR, WWCC and NDIS Worker Orientation module
    • Current Driver's License with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle (mandatory).

    Employment with CareChoice is subject to satisfactory background checks which include Professional References, Employee Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
