    About the opportunity

    We are in a period of exciting change and significant development within our Domestic Recruitment and Access and Sydney Future Students portfolio, as we strive to deliver on our university's ambitious strategic plan. In light of this development, we are seeking an ambitious StudentRecruitment Coordinator (Schools) to deliver timely and effective services to our schools network while identifying new opportunities to build strong relationships.

    Utilising your service-oriented approach, you will work under the guidance of the Student Recruitment Manager to implement strategic programs and projects which will support the recruitment of prospective students for the University of Sydney. Demonstrating your engagement and people skills, you will attend events on behalf of the University of Sydney promoting the University and its offerings.

    In this varied and fast paced role, your exceptional multi-tasking abilities are essential as you will be involved in the planning and delivery of multiple events and outreach activities.

    About you

    • knowledge and experience working in the higher education industry, with a particular focus on high schools
    • proven leadership and managerial experience to lead and develop a high performing team
    • strong experience in supporting and coordinating multiple administration projects across a complex organisation
    • knowledge and experience delivering customer/client focused strategies with particular focus on implementing tactics to attract prospective students
    • excellent organisation and time management skills with high attention to detail
    • initiative and understanding of stakeholder priorities, to ensure a customer and client centric approach
    • experience working well in a small team and contributing to a robust and goal orientated team environment
    • creativity and solutions focused to enable continuous service improvements.

    Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the reasons for the position.
