- Be the key point of contact for Council's Asset Management InformationSystem, ensuring the asset data is consistent with the Asset ManagementInformation System requirements.
- To develop, implement and maintain asset management processes.
- To update asset registers incorporating capital works and developergifted assets to facilitate annual asset valuations.
- To resource, maintain and enhanceCouncil's pavement management system and prepare forward programs for road andkerb renewal, re-sealing and re-sheeting.
- To assess, prepare and update assetinventories, implement/undertake condition assessments, identify and developfinancial modelling/planning and asset revaluations.
- Participate in the Asset Planning Team with a focus on establishment andimplementation of asset management strategies and systems and plans forcouncil's infrastructure.
- Tertiary qualifications in Asset Management and/or related disciplinesuch as Engineering or substantial experience/knowledge in Asset ManagementInformation Systems.
- Some experience in and knowledge of Civil Engineering practice and inparticular road construction/maintenance.
- Excellent understanding and demonstrated application of Asset Managementprinciples
- Substantial knowledge/experience in Pavement Management Systems
- Experience and understanding of Quality Assurance and Health &Safety standards and procedures.
- Proficiency in the use of computerised accounting systems, spreadsheetsand related Microsoft Office Suite of products will be an advantage.
