    About the Opportunity

    We are actively seeking a Trades Assistant to join our Brisbane Concrete division. As a key member of the team, you will be partnered with a dedicated Mechanic to provide direct assistance with daily operations and routine preventative maintenance on Boral South East Queensland transit mixer fleet.

    You will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist with preventative maintenance servicing, assembling and disassembling components on heavy vehicles and transit mixers and Heavy Vehicles.
  • Operate a variety of hand/ power/ air tools.
  • Assist with maintenance in our workshops and on sites.
  • This is a permanent, full-time role offering a base shift of 2.00pm to 10.00pm with overtime available until 2:00am in most instances, Monday to Friday. 25% nightshift loading on shifts where the majority of time worked occurs after 6pm.


    About You

    The successful candidate must demonstrate:

  • Strong work ethic with the aptitude to conduct physical tasks requiring a hands on approach
  • Genuine interest and motivation towards learning this role and the wider business
  • Ability to manage time and competing priorities within fast paced environments
  • Current and valid Drivers License, additional MR Licence preferred
  • Availability to work 2.00pm to 2.00am
