Trust and Risk bring this to life by helping clients to protect and strengthen every aspect of their business; from people to performance, systems to strategy and business plans to business resilience.
Advising clients and providing hands-on assurance over data migrations on large projects (e.g. from legacy to cloud platforms)
Designing and developing data mapping, testing & reconciliation frameworks and tools
Designing and developing data profiling and quality monitoring processes and tools
Supporting clients with the continuous improvement of data quality by developing and implementing data quality remediation programs and solutions
Providing specialist advice to PwC clients and teams on best practices and innovative uses of data to solve problems
Being able to work closely with non-technical stakeholders to explain and address technical risks and requirements in a clear business context.
You have a background in defining and leading large scale data migration and data-centric transformation projects and also bring the following:
Experience with migration of large complex data sets using ETL tools (ideally 5+ years)
Experience in migrating data for ERP systems, preferably SAP and/or Oracle.
Experience in defining data migration strategies, requirements, data profiling & quality processes, and testing & reconciliation frameworks
Experience with data engineering, data quality, data cleansing activities
Experience of different delivery methodologies (agile, hybrid agile, waterfall) across the project lifecycle (planning, discovery, implementation, go-live).
Technical Skills
Data Engineering / ETL / Data Quality / Data Profiling skills with one or more leading integration tools (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, Informatica, Talend, Experian)
A strong background in coding, preferable experience with SQL, Python and/or R
Project delivery toolset experience in one or more batch ETL tools (such as DataStage, Informatica, Microsoft SSIS or Azure Data Factory).
Experience in engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Consulting experience and background, including engaging directly with clients
Managing and developing high performing teams
Exceptional communication, documentation and presentation skills.
