    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join Agnes, looking for people with a passion for the culinary landscape and showcasing our wonderful produce in an authentic way.

    This hands-on leadership role will support the Head Chef in overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations, managing service, and driving consistency in food quality and presentation.

    You will play a key role in mentoring junior chefs, improving kitchen procedures, and contributing to a strong and respectful kitchen culture.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the Head Chef in overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations and managing service.
    • Drive consistency in food quality and presentation.
    • Mentor junior chefs and improve kitchen procedures.
    • Contribute to a strong and respectful kitchen culture.

    Requirements:

    • Experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie within high-volume or multi-section kitchens.
    • Experience working in larger kitchen brigades with structured operations and service flows.
    • Familiarity cooking with fire is highly regarded.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, train, and support a team during both prep and service.
    • Clear communication style and collaborative approach to working with the front-of-house team.
    • Excellent standards in food quality, portioning, and presentation.
    • Good understanding of inventory management, ordering, and maintaining cost control.
    • A positive and proactive mindset, with the flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
    • A desire to contribute meaningfully to the launch of a new venue and build something exceptional from the beginning.
