    About the role:

    As their next Area Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the performance of a group of stores, both metro and semi-regional.. This role requires a hands on approach to leadership with a focus on driving sales, managing KPI's, fostering a culture of excellence and training & development of large teams. If you thrive in a fast paced environment and are passionate about L&D, this role is one not to miss.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead a team of Store and Assistant Store Managers to achieve sales targets and KPI's
    • Provide hands on leadership and support, including training, coaching and development opportunities
    • Drive operational excellence through effective inventory management and merchandising
    • Monitor and analyse sales performance in line with targets and address poor performance where needed
    • Collaborate with other team members, peers and colleagues to implement initiatives and optimise store performance
    • Ensure compliance with policy & procedure standards across all stores within the region

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in a similar large format, fast paced, high stock density environment
    • Ability to talk to sales and results and actions to obtain success
    • Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, customer service and loss prevention
    • Hands on leadership style with a passion for training and developing people
    • Ability to thrive in a non stop, faced paced, high SKU count environment essential
    • Results focused with a mindset of exceeding sales targets and KPI's
