As a leading manufacturing company in Western Sydney, renowned for innovation and excellence, our client is one the hunt for a skilled Financial Analyst. Join a dynamic team on a 12-month fixed-term contract and be part of a legacy of delivering excellence products and services.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role will play a crucial role in supporting the finance function. The successful candidate will be responsible for various financial tasks, including:

• Conduct product costing analysis to ensure accurate pricing and profitability assessment;
• Coordinate and execute stock takes to maintain accurate inventory records and minimize discrepancies;
• Drive month-end financial close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis;
• Provide valuable business insights through financial analysis, highlighting areas for improvement and growth;
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports to stakeholders, including senior management and department heads;
• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in financial processes and systems; and
• Foster strong stakeholder engagement across all levels of the organization, collaborating effectively to achieve financial objectives and drive business success.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or CA qualification preferred;
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting within a manufacturing or similar industry;
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Benefits

• $110,000 - $120,000 plus super;
