    Welcome to the Team We are an enterprise-wide, C-suite sponsored program team built to drive value and operational excellence throughout the Business Units through a consulting style service that leverages a strong program structure and provides both leading practice insights / thought leadership and delivery excellence to our business partners.

    Our mandate is to partner with each of our Business Units across the group portfolio to identify and develop high-quality productivity plans and projects, within the Goods & Services Not for Resale space.

    We collaborate with each Business Unit to target and prioritise the areas that represent the most significant improvement in their cost of doing business and therefore directly contribute to the bottom line of the company.


    What you'll do You will be involved with:

    Leading individual or a portfolio of cost optimisation and transformation projects across the Group or within the Brand & Marketing and Woolworths New Zealand business units.

    Building credibility and being a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across the Business Units.

    Being challenged in a key role where you will make a visible impact on the success of the business and manage senior stakeholder relationships.

    Ability to think strategically and innovatively and will leverage strong stakeholder management skills as key relationships with senior business leaders are developed.

    Team members own the entire development and deployment of a portfolio of large-scale transformation initiatives across the organisation, driving them through to execution.

    Each role is critical to the success of the current Strategic Cost Reduction Program.

    The Candidate will play a consultative role to the Business Units and will support and empower them through their journey from identification to delivery of transformation initiatives.

    The role will require strong project management skills and the development of strategic plans to drive the timely accomplishment of transformation initiatives.

    What you'll bring We are looking to hire for our dynamic program team of experienced Strategy & Transformation Consultants whose focus is to support the operational functions of the Woolworths Group Portfolio, to deliver the 2025 strategic objectives.


    You will have:
    Experience with Tier 1 or boutique consulting firm (Associate / Consultant level) Well-developed consulting and problem-solving toolkit.
    A proven analytical and creative mindset that brings clarity to ambiguity.
    Strong end-to-end project or program management skills.

    Proven experience in managing the whole or parts of an end-to-end multi-million dollar transformation project/s across a large organisation and geography.

    Strong track record in delivering quality outcomes, demonstrated ability to manage internal and external stakeholders as well as the ability to structure and prioritise project demands.

    Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills with demonstrated ability to influence & gain credibility with senior stakeholders and project teams.
