- Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety.
- Experience in developing, designing and integrating WHS Management Systems in compliance with WHS legislation and ISO.
- Expert knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act, relevant legislations and codes of practice.
- Expert in conducting detailed safety incident investigations in line with root cause or ICAM methodologies.
- Effective interpersonal skills to educate and influence with regard to WHS matters.
- COVID- Vaccination or medical contraindication upon commencement.

About the role:
Council has an exciting opportunity for a driven Work, Health and Safety professional to join their team as a Work, Health and Safety Specialist. You will be responsible ensuring the coordination of Council's compliance with Work, Health & Safety legislation and ensuring that Council's WHS Management System meets legislative requirements and ISO.
