    About the role:
    We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Department/Service. The operator is an effective team member who will work with both clinical and non-clinical staff, to undertake patient service tasks which support the wellbeing of patients and staff, through the provision of service in the areas of patient, staff and goods transport and other directed duties.

    About you:
    We are seeking a skilled and energetic Patient Transport Officer who possess a passion for person centred care. We welcome applications from individuals who have experience in service-oriented roles and possess the ability to work self-sufficiently on assigned tasks with little to no direct supervision.

    Selection Criteria:
    1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia
    2. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
    3. Possess a current NSW Drivers' Licence with a minimum class level of C and/or willingness to obtain LR Licence (RMS drivers licence record to be attached with application)
    4. Possess a current Senior First Aid Certificate prior to commencement
    5. Possess and maintain a Certificate III in Patient Transport or willingness to obtain a Certificate lll in Patient Transport
    6. Ability to successfully work as part of a team and individually, both in a supervised and unsupervised environment with flexibility in work hours
    7. A strong commitment to customer service with excellent interpersonal skills
    8. Demonstrated ability to deliver quality patient care would be beneficial
