    Salary Levels:

    • Level A: $75,888 - $102,040 per annum + 17% superannuation contribution
    • Level B: $107,276 - $126,894 per annum + 17% superannuation contribution

    Contract Duration: 24 months full-time fixed-term

    The University of Adelaide's School of Agriculture, Food and Wine is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow specialized in molecular phenotyping to forecast resilient wheat genotypes under future warmer conditions.

    The role involves contributing to the Grains Research and Development Council (GRDC) initiative, Analytics for the Australian Grains Industry (AAGI). Responsibilities include statistical modeling, computational statistics, software development, analytics reporting, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary research teams.

    The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in R or Python, effective communication, and a track record of meeting deadlines.

    Qualifications and Skills (Essential):

    • Experience in publishing research articles

    Skills (Desirable):

    • Experience with Git and software development best practices
    • Familiarity with machine learning
