    About You As a Senior Automation/SCADA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design, development, and implementation of complex SCADA/control systems primarily within Commercial and Industrial construction projects.

    Additionally, BMS subject matter expert responsible for leading and managing the BMS (Building Management System), EMS (Energy Management System) and LCS (Lighting Control System) vendor and contractors.

    This is a hands-on position collaborating with the engineering, delivery, construction and operation teams to ensure a consistent and replicable solution is being implemented and maintained in all projects ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across all projects.

    Duties will include (but not be limited to)Lead the development and detailed design of SCADA/PLC/BMS for medium to large scale commercial and industrial projects, adhering to technical specifications and project schedules.

    Provide engineering support for the design and implementation of BMS, EMS and LCS solutions.
    Collaborate with project managers, domain experts, and engineers from various disciplines to ensure integration into overall project design.
    Oversee and review contractors; work during all phases of projects, including design, construction, commissioning, and validation.
    Lead the operation of SCADA/BMS monitoring systems and provide guidance during incidents affecting site operation.
    Manage and deal with external stakeholders to deliver projects.
    Prepare tender and manage vendors and contractors for all automation disciplines.
    Provide technical input into the selection of equipment for various applications and ensure quality assurance throughout project execution.
    Develop and witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for engineered solutions.
    Prepare and deliver technical and project reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechatronics, Control Systems) or equivalent.
    Minimum 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in designing and delivering complex commercial and/or industrial projects.
    Proficiency in designing and programming PLC/SCADA/DDC controls, with experience in large-scale complex projects.
    Hands-on experience with BMS projects, including design, delivery, and operation.
    Leadership experience with excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
    Strong understanding of commercial and industrial environments, with a focus on data integrity and system reliability.

    Proficiency with a diverse range of PLC/SCADA/DDC controls for BMS, EMS, and LCS technologies, encompassing platforms such as Siemens Simatic Win CC, Siemens Desigo CC, Schneider Electric Eco Struxure, Experience with networking and communication protocols such as TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Modbus RTU, BACnet, DNP3, MQTT, OPC DA/UA, Profibus, MBus, KNX.

    Ability to manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.
    Previous experience of on-site SCADA and BMS installation, testing and commissioning.
    Able to work independently and results oriented.
    Good written and verbal communication skills.
