    Description

    We at Chandler Macleod are seeking a Community Bank Branch Manager. Who will possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills to manage the branch and drive the business forward. You will need to demonstrate success in the finance industry including consumer and SME lending experience, business management skills and the ability to lead a team. You will need to have proven relationship building skills and be capable of working with a board of directors and enjoy a hands-on role in the local region.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and deliver branch-based business plans, focusing on business planning and development.
    • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new small business customers, including actively promoting the bank in the marketplace and local community.
    • Develop and execute customer acquisition, retention, and advocacy strategies to enhance customer experience.
    • Cultivate relationships with stakeholders and act as the main branch contact for local community groups and the bank.
    • Develop and lead a team to achieve financial objectives, ensuring a motivating work environment that encourages accountability and engagement.
    • Analyse performance, manage operational costs, and maintain quality lending and credit management standards.
    • Lead a culture that embeds consideration of risk and compliance in decision-making, aligning behaviours with the bank's values.
    • Participation in local community initiatives deemed as business growth opportunities.

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • Prior experience in Banking or similar
    • Previous experience in managing a team, monitoring, and tracking performance against targets.
    • Lending and business development experience
    • FSRA Accreditation T2 – Deposit Taking & Non-Cash Payment Facilities & General Insurance
    • Certificate III in Financial Services (Desirable)
    • Formal qualifications in Business/Finance or related discipline (Desirable)
