    The Financial Operations (R2R) team is responsible for the Record to Report, 'R2R', function for Consumer Australia and Enterprise Australia.

    The team are accountable for ensuring that Financial and Customer related data is appropriately captured within SAP to comply with Accounting and International Standards, supports Optus, Singtel and Regulatory reporting requirements and analysis, and is timely and accurate.

    Based in Sydney - Macquarie Park, this role is an 18 month parental leave cover role.

    As a Finance Manager – Enterprise Carriage, you will work closely with the outsourced BPO team delivering services to Optus and ensures there is effective governance and control of the P&L for the respective portfolio and related Balance Sheet within Enterprise Australia. You will also be partnering with the finance business partners and key business stakeholders to ensure effective change management to support the efficient and effective operationalisation of business initiatives and other changes.

    The Enterprise Carriage portfolios covered are Mobile Post Paid & Mobile Broadband, Mobility Applications & Messaging, Machine 2 Machine / Internet of Things, Voice and Data & Internet Protocol.

    What makes you perfect for this role?

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance, with CPA/CA studies being advantageous.
  • Significant work experience in a dynamic, high-volume financial accounting role.
  • Demonstrates strong technical accounting skills and exhibits solid analytical ability, showcasing a proactive approach to investigation.
  • Advanced relationship management skills, both internally and externally.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, and experience with SAP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues concisely.
  • Experience leading teams and managing change management initiatives.
  • Exceptional prioritisation skills and proven ability to thrive under pressure.
