Are you a seasoned Senior Network Engineer with a wealth of experience in LAN/WAN/MAN, voice, and wireless technologies?

Our client, a leading healthcare organisation is looking for you to join an innovative team and take the lead in designing, implementing, and optimising our corporate/campus network infrastructure

The role : The purpose of this role is to maintain and support the telecommunications environment, which consists of internet, data, video, and voice networks over IP and non-IP based technologies and to perform troubleshooting and management.

This role will assist the Telecommunications Architect with implementation of new Telecommunications technologies and become a subject matter expert for going BAU support of these products. You will also act as a 2 ic and mentor and assist junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable LAN/WAN/MAN solutions to support corporate and campus requirements.
• Implement and optimize wireless infrastructure for seamless connectivity.

Voice Network Expertise:

• Bring extensive experience in designing and managing voice networks, ensuring clear and reliable communication.
• Collaborate with telephony teams to integrate voice solutions seamlessly into the network.

Wireless Networking:

• Design and manage robust wireless networks to provide secure and high-performance connectivity across the corporate/campus environment.
• Implement and optimize wireless security protocols.

Troubleshooting and Resolution:

• Utilize your expertise to troubleshoot complex network issues, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
• Proactively identify and address potential network bottlenecks or vulnerabilities.

Collaboration and Leadership:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departmental stakeholders to align network solutions with business objectives.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer in a corporate/campus environment.
• Expertise in LAN/WAN/MAN, voice, and wireless technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to lead resolution efforts for complex issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relate field.
• Experience working in hospital environments.
• Knowledge of hospital systems.
• Microsoft Windows Network operating systems.
• Unified Communications and Collaboration solutions.
