    The Purpose:

    As a BDM in our AP+ Commercial team, you will be responsible for nurturing strategic commercial relationships as well as managing and growing key strategic relationships, through:

    • Growing transactions and revenues over the medium and long term.
    • Manage and grow the strategic commercial relationship with key AP+ members in a planned and coordinated way.
    • Collaboratively understand the member's strategy, their needs and driving greater strategic alignment against these needs.
    • Packaging and selling the AP+ suite of products and developing propositions to drive adoption of these products.
    • Leading and negotiating commercial agreements that meet both AP+ and member needs.
    • Development and management of overall member engagement strategy and approach, to drive high member engagement scores.
    • Development of strategic account plans with members and working in collaboration with other parts of the AP+ business to ensure success.

    To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate a strong track record of strategic sales success within the Finance, FinTech industries as well as possess robust influencing skills, be forever curious and contribute towards a collaborative team dynamic.

    We require someone who can demonstrate great authenticity, is able to build customer rapport, has strong commercial acumen and a consultative selling approach.

    In order for you to be successful in the role, you'll have:

    • Proven experience driving growth across a high functioning team responsible for Business Development, within the Banking, Fintech, Payments, Merchant or Acquiring space.
    • The ability to package products and present compelling sales presentations to drive greater strategic alignment.
    • Experience developing and building commercial relationships as well as developing and refining key account plans.
    • Ability to support, embed and deliver the GTM strategy.
    • Proven experience managing & growing the strategic commercial relationships with AP+ key partners / customers which supports their business objectives and achievement of AP+ business goals.
    • Robust experience negotiating, and constructing deals that meet both AP+ and key customer needs.
