About the role Black6 is Seeking a Software Engineer/Developer.
The role focuses on the technical and development aspects of innovative software projects.
The ideal candidate should thrive in a start-up environment and possess the skills for efficient and creative problem-solving.

As part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in advancing the company's mission to deliver advanced simulation technology, impacting a diverse and international clientele in the defence and training sectors.

Successful candidates for this role will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of projects, showcasing their skills in evaluation, design, and development.

Office Location:
Gold Coast (Coomera), Australia Qualifications Sound Understanding of Databases: SQL & No SQLExperience with version control tools (e.g.
Git, Perforce Helix Core).2+ years backend development experience Exceptional and proactive communication skills enabling clear and concise communication with team members.
Experience with Agile methodologies and working in teams of mixed disciplines. Desired but not Required Experience working within a start-up environment.

Experience working with Game/Simulation Development engines (Unreal Engine, Unity, Prepar3 D)Familiar with ISO9001 Quality Management System Requirements Must have, or be capable of attaining, at least a Baseline security clearance (or equivalent clearance, recognised by the Australian Government, for non-Australian citizens).
