We have an opening for a
FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIANto solve a General Contractor ssitebased sluice gate/valve start up needs.

If you enjoyinteracting with customers challenging work environments andworking in a handson capacity we invite you to apply This positionis responsible for helping our clients install repair and maintainour equipment.

Correctly uses and maintains tools including handtools power tools electrical equipment and measuring instruments ina physically demanding outdoor environment. The candidate must bepassionate about providing exceptional customer service and complywith all Environmental Safety & Healthprocedures.


Responsibilitiesinclude:

Manage onsluice site gate installation repair maintenance and test tasks(Installation is done by the contractor FS technician scope is toguide them on installing equipment per O&Mmanual)Diagnoseerrors or technical problems and determine propersolutionsProducetimely and detailed service reports for project managers records.
Works withcontractor to understand equipment issues troubleshoot and diagnoserootcause problems and arranges necessary parts from our facilityto resolveissues.
Responsiblefor timely completion and submittal of activity reports and otherassociateddocumentation.
Responsibleto identify modifications to existing product documentation andcommunicate to projectteam.


Qualifications:

Five(5) years of job experience as a field servicetechnicianWaterTreatment industry experience a BIGplusAbility totroubleshoot test repair and service flow control mechanicalequipmentAbility toadapt to changing work schedules. Excellent verbal and writtencommunicationskillsProficientcomputer skills Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Outlook andExcel)Ability tolift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet up to 8 hours adayAbility totravel up to 50%. Valid Driver sLicense.


PhysicalDemands:

Must beable to access and be comfortable with working in a variety ofconditions to include confined spaces damp and/or dusty locationsfreezing conditions and hotconditionsMust beable to physically perform the essential duties of the positionwhich include lifting 50 lbs stooping kneeling crouching reachinguse hands to evaluate equipment.

Must be able topass a drug screen and physicalexamThe job functionsabove describe expected work to be performed by the employee withthis job title.
