    Job Overview:

    We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated OSHC Coordinators across Melbourne. We are working with an established OSHC provider to find coordinators who can assist and support leading the service programs and ensure the delivery of exceptional care and engaging activities for children, while building a supportive environment for staff, children and their families. These coordinators will play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children can thrive and develop valuable life skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with planning and implementing educational programs
    • Continuously assess and improve the program's effectiveness through feedback and evaluation.
    • Maintain accurate records, including attendance observations, incident reports, and other required documentation.
    • Ensure all practices are observed and in accordance to the framework and National Quality Standards
    • Create a safe and welcoming environment that adheres to all relevant health and safety regulations.
    • Build positive relationships with children, parents, caregivers, and school staff to ensure effective communication and program alignment.
    • Providing active support and supervision to every child at all times
    • Manage administrative tasks such as rostering and reporting
    • Work cooperatively, ethically and respectfully with other educators, and support their professional development
    • Attend and actively participate in all team meetings and planning sessions
    • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to OSHC services.

    Qualifications:

    • Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Previous experience in a leadership role or supervision role within an OSHC program or similar childcare setting.
    • Strong understanding of child development, behavior management, and positive guidance techniques.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Current First Aid and CPR certification or willing to achieve
    • Working with Children Check (or equivalent) clearance.
    • Current Police Check or willing to obtain
