As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Service Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis to service their customers.

    About the role:

    You will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and providing operational training and support for a variety of complex medical devices & instruments. Your commitment to professionalism, reliability, and customer satisfaction will be essential as you strive to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and internal performance metrics. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be collaborating closely with our commercial operations teams to drive revenue growth while fostering strong customer relationships.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • On site service of machinery including installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair.
    • Complying to quality standards and procedures while efficiently leading field service activities.
    • Meet SLA goals for customer response and resolution time.
    • Provide product training to customers and staff to enhance technical service capabilities.
    • Support the Sales Team with technical information, training, and demonstrations.
    • Identify opportunities to expand customer service and sales, exceeding budget expectations.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in technical service procedures and efficiency.



    The Ideal Candidate:

    The following attributes are beneficial:

    • Proven experience within a similar engineering position, with knowledge in Liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry or similar analytical chemistry systems.
    • Tertiary qualification in Scientific (chemistry/physics), Biomedical, Mechatronic, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Technical service / maintenance experience with electro-mechanical / medical products is preferred.
    • Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
