Based in a convenient Western Sydney location they are currently looking to expand their finance team due to an acquisition of a smaller business.

Job Description

As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Recording financial transactions by inputting data into ledgers using SAP
• Preparing the financial statements such as the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement, which provide an overview of the organisation's financial position and performance
• Ensuring that financial transactions are recorded in compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
• Assisting in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Preparing various financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, such as management, investors, creditors, and regulatory agencies

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

• A degree or post-graduate certificate in Accounting or Finance
• Completed your CPA certification
• Experience working as a Financial Accountant
• Available immediately
• Advanced SAP skills
