A Senior Farm Hand position has become available 40km north of Hyden, WA in the small community of Woolocutty. This job will be a permanent role with roughly 50hrs a week and covers all aspects of seeding & harvest, tractor operation, spraying and truck driving on a mixed cropping enterprise. Working with a small team of 2 (plus seasonal casuals), you will have 5+ years cropping experience, hold a current MC and be a non-smoker. Multiple modern accommodation facilities are on offer along with a vehicle and a generous salary package for the right candidate. This job is suitable for singles and families and is only 40km away from shops, amenities and a primary school.

About the Role:

· All-encompassing in relation to cropping, spraying, seeding, harvest and all associated tasks
· Machine and Tractor Operations and truck driving
· Leadership responsibilities and staff supervision of a small team
· Truck driving at harvest
· Mechanical repairs and servicing
· General farm duties as required
· Family owned & operated

About You:

· Passion for farming especially in cropping.
· 5+ years experience in cropping (Seeding, spraying, harvesting)
· Operating experience
· Non-Smoker
· Ability to work well within a small, close-knit team
· ChemCert licence or willing to obtain
· MC truck license desirable
