Our client, a prominent ASX listed infrastructure business based in North Sydney, is actively searching for a skilled professional to join their high-performing team as a Senior Financial Accountant.
DescriptionAs a Senior Financial Accountant, you will report to the group finance controller and play a vital role in:
Leading financial operations and driving success in the competitive infrastructure sector
Preparing and analysing financial statements and reports, gaining valuable insights to influence critical business decisions
Developing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, optimizing resource allocation and profitability
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, upholding the highest standards of integrity
Implementing effective financial risk management strategies and control measures
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, fostering synergy to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency
Profile
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
CA qualified, demonstrating expertise in financial management and reporting
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Finance Accountant or in a similar role, thriving in a fast-paced environment
Solid knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with a track record of driving financial performance
Proficiency in financial management software and tools, utilizing technology to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
Strong leadership and communication skills, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment
