- Planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, including client entertainment, B2B networking, industry conferences and not-for-profit engagement.
- Developing and nurturing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and vendors.
- Creating and managing event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality execution.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event logistics and successful outcomes, with a focus on sales.
- Leading post-event evaluations and reporting to measure the success of events against established goals.
- Keeping abreast of marketing and industry trends to bring innovative ideas to the planning and execution of events.
- Occasionally representing the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Plan, coordinate and communicate consolidated external events calendar
- Ensure all stakeholders are aware of events purpose, opportunities, business benefits and investment.
- Ensure that all events are managed professionally.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in event management and sponsorship or partnership development.
- Previous experience in sports partnerships is desirable.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A creative and strategic mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional results to all stakeholders.
- Ability to lead projects, communicate and gain buy in from various stakeholders.
- Experience of negotiating with and influencing decision makers.
