    About the Role

The Junior SRE is responsible for ensuring high availability and minimal disruption of our business-critical applications, and systems. You'll assist in our ongoing efforts to standardize our observability, streamline our deployment process, and champion a "configuration as code" philosophy across our business. In this role, you'll be working closely with our Site Reliability Engineering Lead as well as Technology Feature Team to improve workflow efficiency. Bring us your problem-solving skills, quick wit, and fast fingers. In return, we'll provide you with a culture of intellectual honesty, an environment of learning and the tools you need to get things done.

    • Implement automation and SRE practices to reduce manual work.
    • Investigate and resolve incidents/work orders, supporting customer issues daily. Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance SLIs and SLOs.
    • Develop operational dashboards and alert systems to decrease MTTR.
    • Conduct disaster recovery exercises and support continuous delivery processes, including potential weekend on-call duties and occasional after-hours support.

    About You

    • Possess up-to-date knowledge of DevOps, Azure, and CI/CD solutions. Demonstrate experience in implementing DevOps practices to enhance MTTR, lead time, change frequency, and change failure rate.
    • Recently graduated or have 1-2 years of IT experience.
    • Have a basic understanding of infrastructure as code practices, particularly with Terraform, along with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and a passion for learning and improving.

We would love to see you application by Friday April 26th 2024.
