    • Participate in the preparation/implementation of relevant vendor and client agreements/plans ensuring agreements include performance management criteria that meets the needs of the department.
    • Relationship management with ICT Service Providers and Vendors including Large Account Resellers (LAR) to ensure the department obtains value for money and avoids risk.
    • Work collaboratively and effectively inside and outside the organisation to create, measure, report and improve vendor performance metrics.
    • Work collaboratively with other parties in vendor selection, evaluation and transition into operational service provisioning.
    • Act as first point of contact for vendor and contract performance management issues raised by stakeholders and service providers/vendors.

    The Senior Vendor Officer role is responsible for establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with DJAG clients, stakeholders and service providers, employing active communication on a regular basis to ensure client business needs are understood and met.

    Additional responsibilities include the asset management
    program and performance management of nominated vendors including contract management.

    • Maintain a positive relationship with vendors and internal customers that leads to value for money and low risk service provision.
    • Maintain knowledge and understanding of QLD Government procurement processes, guidelines and standards in a rapidly changing ICT environment.
    • Provide advice, analysis and reports in writing relating to supplier/vendor performance and adherence to agreed performance metrics as outlined in a range of enterprise contracts.
    • Prepare memos, advice, reports and submissions.
    • Performs other essential duties and tasks specific to the position as would be reasonably required.
    • This role requires you to work autonomously in a specialist team and requires you to liaise with and build productive relationships with stakeholders across the branch.
