    The Role
    Make a difference in ourcommunity

    The role will lead and contribute to the development, assessmentand implementation of strategic projects, structure plans,development plans and planning scheme amendments of strategicimportance to Council. The position joins a high performing teamthat has responsibility for diverse planning activities frominception through to implementation to ensure high quality,sustainable outcomes for the community.

    About you
    You will demonstrate soundexperience undertaking and managing multi-disciplinary planningprojects from inception to implementation, and have an ability toengage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to deliveroutcomes in a timely manner.

    You will demonstrate experience working in or with LocalGovernment and, ideally, have an understanding of land use anddevelopment planning in the context of a growth area municipality.You will demonstrate an ability to effectively prioritise tasks andwork through complex planning issues.

    To be considered for this role, you must have tertiaryqualification in Urban Planning or a related discipline.
