They've had an impressive amount of success and have quickly become a market leader in consumer products.

Based in Sydney CBD.

Job Description

The successful candidate for the NPD Buyer role will be responsible for:

• Negotiating with suppliers regarding all commercial aspects & formalising agreements through contract implementation.
• Working closely with the category team to assess how to best combine portfolios for efficient negotiating positions.
• Leading all NPD under remit from a Procurement perspective, managing costs over multiple project portfolios.
• Standing as the main representative of the Procurement team to all suppliers and brands under remit.
• Managing the total product cost of the NPD and proposing value/design alternatives.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the NPD Buyer role will ideally possess the following skills and attributes:

• Proven analytical skills, critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills.
• Presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Motivated self-starter as well as collaborative team player.
• Proven ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally internally and with customers.
• Intermediate/Advanced MS Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
