    You will be joining the Compliance and Amenity department which consists of Local Laws, Local Laws Admin, Prosecutions and Parking.

    The role

    We are seeking a Parking Enforcement officer to join the Parking Services team. Reporting to the Parking Enforcement Supervisor, the role of the Parking Services team at the City of Kingston is to support and provide guidance to residents, traders and visitors throughout the municipality as well as enforcing the Road Safety Act and Regulations as required.

    About you

    We are looking for someone with:

    • A customer first approach and demonstrated parking enforcement experience, or appropriate law enforcement or related qualification
    • Experience in the application of relevant legislation.
    • A current Victorian drivers licence and the physical ability to undertake the tasks associated with the activities of parking enforcement.
    • You will be able to demonstrate that you can thrive as part of a supportive team, while having the resilience required for working autonomously.
    • You must be available to work regularly on weekends along with some public holidays.
