Calling all Procurement Specialists
***Canberra based – Baseline clearance required***

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist with expertise in ICT procurement, including labor hire, hardware, and software. This role is situated within a prominent government agency tasked with safeguarding national interests through strategic intelligence and cybersecurity initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring alignment with the agency's strategic goals and procurement guidelines.

Key Duties:

• Lead the coordination and execution of procurement activities, from developing planning documents and RFQs to conducting evaluations and engaging with stakeholders.
• Manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously, liaising with both technical and non-technical staff to ensure timely and responsive procurement services.
• Prioritize procurement tasks effectively, working under the direction of a team leader to adhere to established procurement guidelines and practices.
• Build productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including ICT professionals and vendors, to support the agency's procurement needs.

Essential Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience in developing procurement documentation in consultation with stakeholders, using Commonwealth panel arrangements, and adhering to the Commonwealth Procurement Framework.
• Strong understanding of good probity practices and familiarity with using MS Office suite and EDRM systems.
• Proven capability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and build productive relationships with stakeholders across various levels.

Highly Desirable:

• A Certificate IV or Diploma qualification in Procurement and Contract Management is highly regarded.
