- Take charge of providing cutting-edge survey guidance to our mining operations;
- Monitor and meticulously report compliance with the mine excavation and dump plans;
- Identify potential challenges and present innovative solutions to mitigate variances;
- Take ownership of managing site survey equipment, including survey drone, dozer GPS and supervisor kits;
- Communicate with the Mining Supervisor, Mining Superintendent, and your Manager about any matters pertaining to survey control within the project.
- Formal qualification in Survey is advantageous, it is not mandatory for this role;
- Proven Survey experience within a mining operation;
- Experience as a drone pilot with UAV certification is beneficial but not a requirement;
- Excellent decision-making and analytical skills;
- Preferred experience with Trimble, Vulcan, Pointstudio and drone processing software;
