    Our client is an independent, Australian owned and operated, Freight Forwarding and Customs Brokerage company, founded 40 years ago. With offices in major cities around Australia and the ability to import and export freight worldwide, this company is looking to add another talented recruit to its ranks.

    The brand continues to be able to offer its customers the best in air, sea and land transportation services by fostering and forging relationships with the best carrier partners while constantly upholding their commitment to be able to cater for all of its customers freight needs.

    The Position

    This company has a rare opportunity to joint their ranks in a Customer Service Account Manager role working in the East Brisbane offices.

    This role, reporting to the Customer Service Manager, will be working with customers day-to-day and keeping them abreast of their freight bookings. On an average day you will be:

    • Leasing with external customers
    • Liaising with Key Account Managers, BDMs and Management
    • Update customer accounts on CRM

    The Package

    Alongside full product and job training given by both my client and their customer covering both the logistics and operational parts of the role, the package on offer for the successful candidate is between $75,000 - $90,000 per year, plus superannuation.

    The Candidate

    To be considered for this role it is essential that the candidate has experience in importing and exporting regulations as well as booking interstate freight, good verbal and written communication is also required. Other attributes that would be highly desired by my client are:

    • An understanding of Incoterms, CargoWise, 1-Stop and ICS Customs Portal
    • Ability to work autonomously and with within a team
    • Problem solving skills
    • 2 years' experience in a similar role
