    The Gardener Position

    We seek a qualified and experienced gardener to join our landscape and grounds team.

    A high standard of gardening and ground maintenance is maintained across our site. Our staff adopt a collaborative approach to support each other in achieving and maintaining this standard.

    The successful applicant will have a good general knowledge of machinery operation, plant identification and care, soil management and irrigation systems, pruning, weeding, and chemical usage.

    This full-time position involves 38 hours of work per week from 7:00am to 3:30pm with an accrued day off every four weeks and six point two weeks annual leave.

    Trinity Grammar School has been a leading educational community for 120 years. We value 'values education' and are an Anglican, independent school for boys located in Melbourne's inner-east. We care for approximately 1,500 students from three-year-old Kindergarten to Year 12.

    Gardening Responsibilities

    The gardener will be responsible for:

    1. Maintenance of gardens and grounds including pruning, weeding and chemical application
    2. Care of plants, trees and shrubs
    3. Management of soil and irrigation systems
    4. Operation and maintenance of machinery
