- With P&L responsibility you will oversee the people, sales, contractor fleet, rostering, service, to achieve growth and customer experience requirements.
- Maintain high levels of safety throughout the operation.
- Develop and implement a sales growth agenda to expand the current client base and build relationships throughout the Western Australian market.
- Help grow the customer base through profitable sales contracts and agreements across sales and service.
- Meet customers on a regular basis, specifically the major customer, to assess service performance, leading collaborative projects, problem solve issues.
- Provide strong leadership to the small team and the contractor fleet to execute operational requirements, drive efficient end to end customer service and a robust service solution.
- Lead the team to ensure all work schedules and activities with customers are in place with a clear tracking and monitoring system to enable the business to measure performance.
- Work with the broader business to develop the strategy and growth for the business as well as the annual business plans and performance to budget.
- Reporting on performance when required.
- Set the teams KPI's and performance targets.
- Ideally tertiary qualified, in a relevant degree.
- Ensure that safety across the business to met and/or exceeded.
- Open to any industry if it is aligned to this role, such as equipment/asset hire, materials handling, transport/distribution. Open to other backgrounds if the candidate can show they can adapt to this environment.
- A proven sales and customer development background working across the B2B space is essential. Must be able to show that they have development strategies to grow sales.
- Must be prepared to be present with the team in the office and building relationship across the group, including head office in Melbourne.
- Experience running a business unit with P&L responsibility, either in a general management or branch management type capacity, that leads both operations and sales.
- Strong cost management background across labor and supply chain.
- Must have a calming style, not easily flustered, strong on structure and discipline but also collaborative.
- Customer orientated, able to meet and work closely with customers.
- Must be able to be firm when required to ensure the operations and service is achieved.

The Role
