We are seeking a qualified and dedicated chef who is committed to exceeding our customers expectations whilst leading a professional and hardworking team.

The eligible candidates will be performing the following duties:

• Prepare all dishes to our high standards consistently.
• Controlling and directing food preparation process and any other kitchen related duties.
• Monitor and record of inventory and if necessary, order, supplies.
• Ensure OH &S and food hygiene requirements are met.
• Work unsupervised and a team while maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
• Assist in overseeing kitchen operations, ordering and stock control.

To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:

• Advanced understanding and appreciation of all aspects of food and its services.
• 2+ years of proven kitchen experience in a fast paced , high volume environment.
• Qualification in commercial cookery - Cert iv or higher.
• Flexible availability.
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skill.
• Effective communication skills.
• Overall knowledge of operations, ordering, stock control and working to budget.
