    YOUR ROLE

    Reporting to the ANZ QHSE Manager, the QHSE Advisor will work closely with managers and employees across our VIC/TAS operations to support a strong culture of quality, safety, health and environment.

    WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

    Specifically, you will:

  • Provide oversight, governance and support in the operational and functional application of CEVA's QHSE management systems.
  • Identify hazards/risks by undertaking audits, inspections, and accident investigations to eliminate or minimise the risks so far as is reasonably practicable
  • Provide coaching, training, and support to employees and managers on health, safety, and environmental matters in accordance with CEVA and legislative requirements.
  • WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    Our ideal candidate has a vocational or tertiary qualification in health and safety, with some experience in a similar role, as well as:

  • Knowledge of Australian health and safety legislation and safety management systems
  • Applied knowledge of ISO 9000, 45001, certification a bonus)
  • Experience in audit and accident/incident investigation
  • Excellent customer, communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to interpret and communicate relevant policy, procedure and practice
  • Valid driver licence and own vehicle with flexibility to travel to sites across Greater Melbourne on a regular basis.
  • In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
