    Job Description - Team Leader F+B and Events

    About This Role

    We are seeking a part-time Team Leader to join our vibrant and exciting team at one of Australia's most iconic venues. This 30-38 hours per week leadership role is perfect for a positive, outgoing, and career-driven individual with a genuine passion for food and beverage.

    As a Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to lead and inspire a team to create exceptional guest experiences. You will be responsible for leading day-to-day shift operations in our Bistro & Bar, managing staff breaks, and ensuring efficient rostering to maintain adequate service coverage at all times.

    Your Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and Supervise: SkyPoint Attendants during events, ensuring exceptional customer service and guest interaction.
    • Shift Operations: Manage day-to-day shift operations in our Bistro & Bar, ensuring smooth service delivery.
    • Rostering and Break Management: Manage staff breaks and ensure efficient rostering to maintain adequate service coverage at all times.
    • Pre-Shift Briefings: Conduct pre-shift briefings, communicating key operational updates, menu changes, and daily objectives to the team.
    • Oversee event setup, operation, and pack down. Manual handling tasks are heavily included in this position.
    • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Events Manager and other team members to ensure smooth event execution.
    • Guest Inquiries: Handle guest inquiries during events, ensuring timely resolution and a positive experience.
    • Training and Development: Provide training for event and F&B staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills to meet event demands.
    • Cleanliness and Presentation: Ensure venue and event spaces meet cleanliness and presentation standards before, during, and after events.
