- Provide management of the Family Store with the day-to-day operations of the Family Store, ensuring the store is presentable, inclusive of customer service and adequate stock levels.
- Provide oversight the financial management of the store.
- Development of staff and volunteers through mentoring, coaching, training and empowering them
- Effectively manage volunteers and ensure the store is within budget and operating on a viable level
- Participates in team activities, attends staff meetings when scheduled and demonstrates a supportive approach to other staff members
- Demonstrated experience in retail management
- People management skills with an emphasis on volunteers and the community
- 2 years' experience in retail and/or customer service
- 1 year experience in mentoring/training and managing staff or ability to demonstrate capability to undertake
- Proven experience in the recycling/transport industry a desirable
- A current QLD Drivers Licence
